My cakes are a playful adventure into modern techniques focused on responsibly & ethically sourced products, blended with a global palate I've developed through years of travel, and experience.

I enjoy supporting & utilizing as many local producers & artisans as seasonally possible.

I try to focus on creating beautiful & health conscious bakes using non-synthetic colors to create (TruColor) whenever I can.

*Please note that for some cakes such as a true red velvet, I do use food color to achieve that ultra saturated beautiful red hue, but you can always request my rouge velvet which utilizes ruby chocolate and beets if preferable.

 

For decorative work I use Colour Mill for highly pigmented needs, sugar paste, wafer paper & chocolate decor.

Prices reflect the time and attention to detail necessary to make sure you receive the best possible creation for your event.

To retain my services & secure your day requires a non-refundable $250

This deposit covers the following (and is not included in your final cake cost):

* $150 for a one hour consultation & design session where we lay out and design your cake together, taste a variety of different delightful treats, and create a game plan of what you'll be receiving on your celebratory day.

* $100 downpayment on your cake

Example Basic Pricing 2022: (this is subject to change based on availability/seasonality of product)

  • $350 base cost for any wedding cake for anything over 50 guests (less than 50 guests? Check out my Intimate Arrangements Option!)

    • Slice per guest: $7/slice (1x1x5" formal cake portion)​

  • $100/sheet cake (perfect way to save some money : please note, all sheet cakes come with three layers of cake, two layers of filling, and have limited flavor options)

  • Decorative cake spacers/dummy Layers : $3 per faux portion : (super awesome for creating dramatic large display cakes)

 

Add Ons:

  • Gold Leaf                                                                                     $ 50/tier

  • Metallic dust detailing                                                                 $ 25/tier

  • Large Chocolate, Sugar Paste OR Wafer/Rice Paper Decor      $ 50/tier

  • Individual sugar or rice paper florals                                           $ 10 - 20/piece

  • Day of floral arrangement                                                           $ 50 (to be supplied by florist of choice)

  • On site arrangement & styling                                                    $ 50 

  • Display items                                                                               $ 25 to rent, plus $50 deposit required

  • Service ware                                                                                $ 20 to rent, plus $50 deposit required

  • Transportation & set up                                                               $ 25, plus an additional $2/mile outside of HRCounty

  • Portioning & on site service                                                        $ 30/hr

 

Design Process:

The fun part! Let’s get together and create your perfect flavor palate, then work to design a cake of your dreams. I’ll be taking notes, and sketching in real time so you have a clear idea of what you’ll see on the day of.

 

Tasting & Decisions:

Many of my creations are customized to your specific requests, but this list helps us pick a jumping off point for our tasting together. Take a second to choose four flavors that you’d like to taste, then we’ll customize & narrow it down from there.
 

Cake Options:

    • Cherrywood Smoked Vanilla

    • Midnight Chocolate (three different chocolates & espresso)

    • Marble (Vanilla & ____your choice___)

    • Golden Carrot (my special blend of golden milk spices, married into a classic carrot cake)

    • Ruby Red Velvet (Ruby chocolate lends a sweet tartness to this blush chocolate cake: this cake unless specified does contain red dye)

    • London Fog (earl grey & lavender)

    • Pistachio (toasted sicilian pistachios & tonka beans)

    • Toasted Almond (orange blossom & smoked salt)

    • Caramelized Banana (a blend of caramelized sugar, cardamom & banana)

Buttercream, Frostings & Ganache Options: 

    • Madagascar Vanilla (rose water & bay leaf)

    • Salted Caramel (scotch & bay leaf)

    • Bittersweet Chocolate (espresso & cinnamon)

    • Cream Cheese (orange blossom, cherry brandy)

    • Almond (rose water & vanilla)

    • Coconut (rum & cardamom)

    • Seasonal Fruit 

Fillers: $30/tier

    • Chocolate tuile: peppermint, lavender, orange, dark, milk, white

    • Feuilletine: chocolate coated crispy wafer cookies

    • Compote & Jams: customized & seasonal

    • Pastry & diplomat cream: customize-able
